My Nature and How Global Warming Is Changing It

Nature has always been a source of peace, beauty, and balance in my life. From the trees that whisper in the wind to the rivers that flow gently through the land, nature makes our world beautiful and keeps us connected to the earth. But today, my nature — and the nature around me — is changing. The reason is clear: global warming.

What Is Global Warming?

Global warming is the gradual increase in the earth’s temperature due to the excessive release of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide, methane, and others. These gases trap heat in the atmosphere, causing temperatures to rise and affecting weather patterns, sea levels, and natural ecosystems.

How Global Warming Is Changing My Nature

The nature I once knew — with cool breezes, clear skies, and fresh air — feels different now. Every season is no longer the same. Summers are hotter, winters shorter, and rainfall patterns unpredictable. The rivers I loved visiting now run dry in summer. Trees shed their leaves earlier, and animals I used to see are becoming rare.

The Disappearing Green

Forests and trees were a big part of my nature. I would walk under their shade, listen to birds, and feel the cool earth beneath my feet. But with global warming, forests are shrinking. Wildfires, droughts, and extreme weather are destroying these green spaces, and the trees that clean our air are vanishing.

Changes in Weather and Climate

I remember when seasons arrived on time. Spring brought flowers, monsoon brought rain, and winters brought cold winds. Now, the timing has shifted. Rains come late or pour heavily all at once. Heatwaves last longer, and winters are no longer as cold. Nature’s balance is broken, and every living being, including humans, is affected.

Impact on Wildlife

Animals and birds are also suffering. Some migrate to cooler places, others struggle to find food and water. Species are going extinct because their homes in forests, oceans, and mountains are being destroyed by rising temperatures and human activities. My nature feels emptier without the chirping birds and playful animals I once loved.

The Health of Rivers and Oceans

Rivers, lakes, and oceans are warming too. Water bodies dry up faster in the heat, and pollution worsens their condition. Fishes, corals, and marine animals are dying because of high temperatures and plastic waste. The rivers I once sat by are losing their flow and beauty.

How It Affects Me Personally

The change in nature affects not only plants and animals but also our hearts and minds. Breathing fresh air has become harder. The peaceful environment of trees and flowers is replaced by heat, dust, and pollution. It affects my health, mood, and happiness. Nature was my escape, and seeing it suffer affects me deeply.
